We’re delighted to share that nine of our MSc in Medical Biotechnology students have successfully qualified in national-level competitive exams including CSIR-NET, ICMR, and JGEEBLIS, six students secured PhD positions in various prestigious institutes in India, while fifteen students cleared the GATE exam.
Additionally, two of our PhD scholars have recently been awarded the highly competitive CSIR-SRF fellowship, further adding to our list of achievements.
This is a proud moment for Department of Biomedical Science and Technology and a strong reflection of the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence of our students. We congratulate the students mentioned below
- Abhirup Koner for successfully qualifying the JGEEBILS 2025 examination and securing a Ph.D position at The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai.
- Anway Patra for successfully qualifying DBT NET 2025 as Catergory-2.
- Arnima Manna for successfully qualifying CSIR UGC NET 2025 as Category-2 and DBT NET 2025 as Catergory-1(JRF).
- Arshama Ziya Haque for successfully qualifying the ICMR NET 2024 as JRF and securing a Ph.D position at CHINTA-TCG CREST.
- Asmita Chakraborty for securing CSIR SRF 2025.
- Biswambhar Bera for successfully qualifying the JGEEBILS 2025 examination and qualifying CSIR UGC NET 2024 as Category-1(JRF).
- Debayan Bhattacharya for successfully qualifying the JGEEBILS 2025 examination.
- Didhiti Singha for securing CSIR SRF 2025.
- Riya Sadhukan for successfully qualifying the JGEEBILS 2025 examination and securing a Ph.D position at National Centre for Cell Science(NCCS), Pune.
- Soumya Mazumdar for successfully securing a Ph.D position at National Institute of Science Education and Research(NISER), Bhubaneshwar.
- Utsa Das for successfully securing M.Tech in Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Kanpur.
