Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible Indian citizens for a junior research fellow position in a research project at the School of Biological Sciences (Department of Biomedical Science and Technology) of the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI, accredited by NAAC with A++ grade). The project is funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India under the State University Research Excellence (SURE) scheme (SUR/2022/002601).
Nature of project-related research work:
Modeling and analyses of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) data to examine the organization principles of the human brain in health and diseases and investigate the relations between brain abnormalities and molecular signatures.
Preferable knowledge/skill:
Experience in computer scripting (e.g., in MATLAB/ R etc)/ is essential. Proficiency in data analyses/statistics/signal processing/image processing will be considered a plus. Previous experience in neuroscience/ biological sciences is not essential.

Essential Qualification: |
A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade will be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS). |
Age limit: | The upper Age limit is 28 Years (SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates will get age relaxation as per SERB, GOI norm). |
Important: The candidate selected for the above position is expected to register for the Ph.D. program as per the rules of RKMVERI.
